Island Food Community of Pohnpei 5k
The morning of the Island Food Community of Pohnpei 5k Ghana was playing Uruguay. As we left the house the game was at half time, Ghana up one to zero. So I pulled out a shirt from 25 years ago and wore it for the run.

I would finish in 28:05 despite pushing hard against the saturating humidity of the morning air.
My son would clock in at 41 minutes in the high humidity conditions.

On the right is a lead organizer of the Island Food Community, Dr. Lois Englberger. In the middle is FSM-NOC Secretary General Jim Tobin, and Sepehr Sohrab. The FSM-NOC co-sponsored the event while the Pohnpei track club helped at the water stops and the race timing.

Breakfast afterward at Arnold's with espresso.
