Best local lunch buffet

Somewhat surprising, but not for those who live here, getting one's fill of good local food during a lunch out is not as simple as heading over the nearest restaurant. Quite frankly, the majority of restaurants do not specialize in local food. Out in Sekere is the one place one can enjoy a local lunch buffet, and the price is the lowest on the island.
The restaurant is open air under a thatch roof that keeps the diners cool on the sunniest of days.
This is the only restaurant on the island that has kon, a local specialty from the islands of Chuuk.
The restaurant has an almost rustic charm.
Rather like a tree house high above a taro patch. All of the food was wonderful, and the buffet was half the price of any other buffet on the island.  A real bargain with local flavor. To find this place, head west from Kolonia towards the capital in Palikir. About three some kilometers out of town, just past a bridge, the restaurant is located on the right.
