Hatching hot dogs

Last night two squall lines of storms came through Argyle, a third one hit mid morning. The storms featured near continuous cloud-to-cloud lightning punctuated by cloud-to-ground shots, the closest at about 340 meters away from the trailer. Local flash flooding, downed trees, and sodden corn fields was the aftermath of the triple header.

The gestation period for a hot dog is not yet know, but Zorro is eager to have many offspring. Of course, Zorro might eat his own hot dogglings.

Meanwhile, in Blanchardville, the picnic table by the East Pecatonica river was empty and available for picnickers. Provided one could swim to the picnic table. The East Pecatonica rose past flood stage at noon today. Highway H was still open - barely.
The afternoon heated up to 81 degrees Fahrenheit and cleared up enough to make an inaugural voyage to the Monroe pool. All of the kids went down the big water slide. During the 15 minute guard's break, one of the water sliders hit the kiddie pool.
