The bottleneck

The bottleneck this year in registration was directly in front of me. The process of advising students who had not registered in the summer was problematic. Too few foot soldiers and too many customers.

The crowd was deep and wide.

This is essentially the three image pan of the gathered throng, right to left. Our students have the most wonderful patience. Even after hours of sitting and waiting, they remain positive, friendly, and helpful.

A student might have waited for two or three hours, only to be told the classes they needed were full. At least one student should have gone postal, none did. They are truly amazing!

At the front, the work force was amazingly dedicated. Three of the advisors worked without a single break, non-stop from 8:30 until 4:00.
