Viewing RGB pixels on LCD panel

In the past during laboratory eleven the class used magnifying glasses to view the pixels on a cathode ray tube (CRT) monitor. The new liquid crystal displays (LCD) have pixels too small to see clearly with a magnifying class. So we used a dissecting microscope.

Prens and Myleen working at the dissecting microscope. Fitting the flat screen monitor under the microscope took some careful arranging. The result was an ability to resolve the monitor. The white boxes were used to support the monitor base.

I later learned that I could just use a cell phone color display, and that this fit much better.
