Arcminutes to meters

Image
With the satellite showing a band of heavy rain inbound from the east, a cold open was done without entering A101. In a scoop and go, the students present at 08:00 were taken west to the covered sidewalk between administration and the dining hall. This term the tape measure was used at both 8:00 and 11:00. The tape measure makes more concretely clear the measurement of meters on the ground.  This term the zero was shifted eat a few meters. The 53 meter mark doesn't make a good deal of difference. Start was off of the corner post by the dining hall.  Calculations made ahead of class indicated that the iOS users could not use their Compass app and the perform the experiment in seconds: Compass free does not display decimal seconds, and the distances are too small to impact seconds. No marbles were distributed after the roll. 9:16 and the third student. All 75 marbles distributed among 15 students were massed by  9:28.  Spreadsheet This term the 95% confidence intervals for all 15 samples captured the population mean. The population mean was also surprising: 5.1000 grams. Mathematically no more surprising than 5.1417, but for humans, surprising.
