Fourth of July in Shullsburg
The gang all gathered on a curb for the fourth of July parade in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. Candy is thrown during the parade, so a curb side seat is a necessity.

After the parade games were held in Shullsburg park. The grandchildren won the initial heats and the semi-finals, facing off against each other in an all-non-Shullsburg final. Team Spain-Micronesia beat team Connecticut-Micronesia.

Despite a best effort, the top cup cake eater from Micronesia was unable to beat Shullsburg's best cupcake eaters.

My father and I went "underground" in Shellsburg about two years ago for his birthday . . . but we DID NOT find a place for ice cream or malts :-(
ReplyDeleteThere is a wonderful coffee shop on main street, I did not have a chance to search out the best ice cream or malts in Shullsburg. Chocolate Temptation in Monroe has chocolates that are awesome. I had excellent ice cream in New Glarus at Maple Leaf Cheese and Chocolate Haus
