Leemay

Leemay covered the use of  ilau steam bath for cough. Leaves are added to boiling water and a steam tent is put over the patient.

Deondra covered the use of ilau as a tea for the treatment of fever. One four to eight leaves in water drunk as an infusion for fever. She then covered the use of ilau as an emetic. If you chew four leaves up and swallow them, ilau acts as an emetic. 

Gilbert brought guava. Guava can cure diarrhea. Six or a few guava leaves. Boil and drink. 

Jason spoke on the use of remek for ending pregnancy. Make tea. Drink. Continue making and drinking the tea until the tree dies.

Ifancy reported that sei stops vomiting. Tear the leaf. Smell the torn leaves. This settles the stomach.


Hyisha noted that for umwulap one should use ilau, karer, weipwul, and konok for coughing, fever, and associated headache

Isaiah spoke on the use of the banana tree stem, which has many medicinal uses. The inner stem can be used to reduce swelling. Peel away the outer layers and pound or smash the inner layers of the pseudostem, then apply as compress to swollen area. Used to treat swelling associated with joint injuries, broken bones, and other forms of swelling related to injuries.

Lee Sandra reported the use of sausau as a the tea for diabetes.

Shanellia

Shanellia Jibemai brought in Senna alata, known in Woleai as yargag. When pronounced, yargag sounds not that different from the Chuukese name of the plant, arakak. Senna alata is used to treat ringworm.
 
Marstella brought in guava leaves,  known in Woleai as yebas. Guava leaves are infused in boiling water for the treatment of stomachache and diarrhea.

Jasiree did not know the local name of her plant, only the reference to the plant as tuhke in mehn tang, which means "plant for diarrhea." I too was unable to identify the plant.

Jasery from Woleai brought in keli, Terminalia catappa leaves.  For babies with a fever red and green leaves are used as infusion to bathe the baby. I had heard of similar treatments but using only the red leaves. 

Tharcy  brought in Morinda citrifolia, ii in Kosraean, and explained that all parts are medicinal. Ferment the fruits and drink to prevent diabetes.

Nerisha Robert brought in liwadawad marer, Centella asiatica, which is used for pwuriamwei (baby startle) and umpwos (boils).

Jarret Tailigtog four leaves of gane monkey leaf for high blood pressure. I could not identify gane monkey.
