Sahp el lungse yok ketchup, e kut tinac sang.  As in the recent royal wedding evening gala, the guest list was small and highly selective. No gifts per se - somehow or another we have raised kids who do not necessarily expect gifts. Not that we preach an anti-materialism line, no, more the case that this day and age has everyone on tightened budgets.

The College of Micronesia-FSM 5k saw a strong turn-out. The weather was ideal - breezy, partly cloudy with patches of sunshine. My son pushed his own personal best down to 33 minutes. Ethnobotany final examination

Fall 2010 the field practical portion of the ethnobotany final examination had some academic integrity and honesty issues. Supervising twenty-five students in the field during a single examination period proved problematic. Spring 2011 I split the class of 28 into five groups of no more than seven students per group. The spring 2011  final also expanded the number of plants. Peter and Vanessa in the field. As the weather permitted, students completed page two in the field. This allowed the students to spread out, and echoed the outdoor nature of the course. Plexiglass underwater clipboards were borrowed from the marine science program. Elvira, Isabella, and Annjanette head for the shelter of the porch ahead of the downpour.  The porch was pressed into service due to the lack of ...

In the automotive area a student explains the inner workings of a transmission to a group of off-camera high school students.  Over in the RAC area my son observes a circuit.  My daughter was not as excited as I to get to see all of the inner workings of a refrigerator.  The cabinetry program displayed furniture that they made. The hospitality program had the kitchen in operation, students preparing sample foods for visitors. The front desk for the mock hotel.  The facility also includes a mock hotel room.
