A spreadsheet that could automatically tally the courses advisees needed to take in order to graduate was developed in April 2023. The spreadsheet also provided information of use to an advisor during registration. Link to view the spreadsheet The first tab contains advisees, their program courses, their grade points in each course  and a status flag.  The advisees are listed in column A.  Column B is their grade in a course recorded as grade points. This helps the advisor know what courses might need to be retaken. The code "ip" is used to denote that a course is in progress.  Column C is whether a student is taking/has taken a course (1) or has not yet taken/needs to retake a course (0).  Columns D to G are copied and pasted from templates on the second tab.  All advisees in all programs are listed on the first tab. ChuuChok had an overnight retreat on Nahlap. The retreat went well. Nahlap remains a touch rugged as a destination as the resort continues to recover from a destructive storm that over washed the island and devastated the infrastructure a couple of years ago.  A few items that proved worthy was remembering to bring a kettle and a butane stove. The generator runs only at night. Mosquito coils are also recommended for an overnight stay. The group used two butane stoves, and three stoves could have proven useful. During the day rice has to be cooked on a butane stove. Two more stoves for cooking food and boiling water would be useful. Twenty-two have responded to the national campus afternoon start time survey as of the last day of classes. Responses have come from both campuses.  Founding Day 2024 was a sports day this year at the college.  31st Founding Day.  A short march from the east end of the field was led by ChuuChok. The day was hot and sunny, but only one student became overheated enough to require a medical check.  The layout of the games remains an area of discussion. All of the track action happens in front of the northside stands, not in front of the western grandstand. This left the invited guests and leadership far from the action on the track. Consideration might be given to finding a way to use the northern stands for the invited guests. This may, however, be impractical as chairs cannot be placed in the northern stands due to the benches.
