Site swap notation

My morning prep and arrival was delayed by messaging involving the LMS transition. I arrived on a cold open. As seems to so often be the the case for a cold open, I went in a new direction.

I did not the use the math stack open as that just didn't feel right this term. Nor did I just open with the site swap diagrams. As seen above  I went for a more meta approach to what it means to be quantitatively literate.

I went with the usual diagrams, but I did some downstream gap projections that I then circled back to when showing that one could count sites to mathematically extrapolate the pattern.
