A term of one day one off topics. Astronomy was slammed into a single day - Friday after the chemistry lab. Ran a 15 minute solar system video. Then a truncated solar system layout due to a health fair out at Sarurn.  Charla carrying the sun.  At Jupiter  Jupiter to scale for Charla's sun.

Monday opened with an introduction to the periodic table including why atomic mass has a decimal value. On into orbitals. Bonding on Wednesday. Attempted 3d orbitals. Wrap up on Wednesday  Thursday morning  Morning selfie  Board setup Collecting flowers the evening before was forgotten. Orchids saved the day. The pink hibiscus from along the driveway did not work. A mix of red and orange hibiscus blossoms also worked well (still in the bag). Limes were forgotten. Mistakes were made. I was fortunate that I had the lime juice from last term. The unit in electricity began on the Friday of optics week with the first 50 minutes of shock and awe. On Monday Power comes in many forms. Wednesday deployed the presentation on electrical appliances. Power price was not yet updated. The high head microhydro provides a good introduction to current and voltage for Wednesday. Wednesday used the electrical device slides to determine the cost of various appliances.  A 330 Ohm resistor in one of the breadboards Che'chemely and Charla setting up Emlyia and Kapualani also setting up Fumie-Kate testing a circuit.
